MX/ENDURO LOCK-ON GRIPS

Our patented Lock-On Grip System utilizes a mixture of a clamping system and a new throttle grip design to deliver non-slip performance.  On the throttle side, we have injection-molded the grip directly to the throttle tube, in effect making it a single unit *.  On the clutch side, specially designed aluminum clamps lock your grip to the bars like a vise.   The net effect is a completely non-slip grip system that will revolutionize the way you install your grips.

CLUTCH-SIDE GRIP

The clutch-side grip locks onto the bar via two Lock-Jaw Clamps (see 1 below).  Installation and removal are a breeze.  Simply slide the grip onto the bars and tighten down the allen bolts to lock it into place (see 2 below).  Grip can easily be removed via the same method without destroying or otherwise damaging your grip.  OPTIONAL:  You grip package also includes two sets Bar End Plugs which can be used to cover the outer Lock Jaw Clamp and to help protect your grips in the event of a crash.  To install End Plugs simply slide them into handlebars and tighten them in place by turning the screw clockwise (see 3 below).

Note:  Use of end plugs is optional and they can easily be removed to accommodate hand guards or other equipment. 

THROTTLE GRIP

The throttle grip is molded directly to the throttle tube making it as easy to install as a new throttle tube.  First remove your old throttle tube and grip.  Next slide on the ODI Ruffian Throttle Grip and Tube and position it on the handlebars (see a below).  Next connect the throttle tube to the throttle cable and insert the End Plugs and Washer (see b below) to complete the installation.  Note: End Plug and Washer are optional and can be left off if you use equipment such as hand guards that insert into the end of the bars.

Note:  Use of end plugs is optional and they can easily be removed to accommodate hand guards or other equipment.

UNIVERSAL THROTTLE GRIP

The Universal Throttle Grip (#H24RH & #H34RH) is designed for people who want to continue to use their current throttle tube or those who only wish to run the Lock-On Grip System on the clutch-side grip.  This package includes the Lock-On clutch-side grip mentioned above and a standard slip-on throttle grip (no throttle tube included).  The throttle grip is exactly the same style grip as the Lock-On Grip, just in a slip-on model which can be used with any throttle tube.
