"ODI Lock-On Ruffian Grips Best Thing: No grip glue is required to mount the Ruffian Grip.
Worst Thing: ODI has to find a way to overcome consumer resistance to the idea of holding grips on with a bolt.
Added Features: The ruffian is the perfect size and comes with a very effective half waffle pattern. No complaints. The Lock-On clutch-side grip makes sense, but most MXA test riders wished for a standard-issue throttle side (since throttle barrels are bolt-on already).
Test Results: It's a weird idea that works. We used a set of Lock-On Ruffian grips for all of the 2002 racing season without a single slip. Best of all, a ripped grip could be replaced at the track without waiting for glue to dry.
